Grisham was violated by Valdez’s 76 mph, at the left-field seat for Grand Slam to make it 6-0.
In the next bat, Iankees Shortstop Anthony Volpe came and that was then that Valdez seemed to express his dissatisfaction with Salazar.
Valdez fired 93 mph in Salazar’s chest, and the hunter was not ready for it as he missed the ball and hit him in his protector in his chest. Salazar stared at Valdez, who turned his back to him and returned to the embankment after the field.
Salazar took off the mask and walked a few steps towards the punches before he returned the ball to Valdez.

Valdez asked after the game if it was intentionally.
“No,” Valdez said. “It wasn’t intentional.”
The 31-year-old said that the Salazar was crossed.
“What happened to us, we just crossed,” Valdez said in Spanish through the translator. “I called on that field, I threw him and crossed it. We went to the long and forgive him and I told him and I told him and I prevailed for it and transferred full responsibility.”
Salazar said after the game he was, not Valdez, pressed the wrong button and that it was not intentional.

“I and Framber actually have a really good relationship.”
