“Many democratic members of the Senate and the houses representing New York remained aside,” Van Hollen said during the events in Iowa on Saturday. “Such a kind of spinal policy is what people are sick. They have to get behind him and now get behind him.”

Jeffries spokesman was fired in Van Hollen in the statement The New York Times.
