“Ikenai Taiyo” from 2007. year was presented as an thematic song for TV drama Work-Kimi And became one of your signatures tracks, partly due to the popularity of the show. How do you see his revival again in the summer of 2025. Years?
Rio: Looking at the comments on YouTube YouTube for the first time and our music videos, I think the basic audience is probably in the 30s, and really hit home how many people listened to our song. Then teenagers and 20-some people who see those comments realize that these were people who once listened to orange range back in the day and it is a very modern phenomenon. It wasn’t really a thing when we first made your debut, so it genuinely makes me happy.
Naoto: I have a personal anecdote in this regard. I got a line from nowhere than the relative, child in high school, who didn’t talk to me at all until the last New Year. And this child was like, “I never knew” Oshare Bancho Feat. Soy Sauce “was a song you did, Uncle.” I didn’t want to translate too much, so I just replied, “Thank you.” (Laughter)
Yamato: Honestly, I’m really happy about it. But we didn’t really change what we were doing. We are currently driving a wave and experience first hand what it means to go to the virus, but intends to continue doing what we do and we need to do, as we always have.
Hiroki: Although it was not just a sudden, spontaneous occurrence and was definitely a strategic element for that, we never expected that to this level. I think we were incredibly happy. But I also honestly want to give myself merit, because the fact that we do so so far and the strength of our songs also has something to do with it. Receiving renewed attention means that we have a better chance to become more people to listen to our future editions and I am really happy that the whole chain of events was successful. Of course, it’s not the ultimate goal, so I’m excited for working with our next song and so on.
You left the gr8! Records, label in Sony music you were nine years old and repeated Sony Music Records in May. She was a strategic intention for that shift like a band, didn’t she?
Yoh: Let’s say the band is a robot. It started as a small robot with only members. But by the time our songs began to reach more people, it increased massively and it was that our weapons continued to change. Then, let’s go back to the base, we decided to operate it again, which meant leaving the company. There was always a lot for learning, regardless of the environment and we took steps in building our career. So personal, I was impatiently waiting for a moment to use it super-powerful weapons and high shields we used earlier. It was not a decision made in the past or two, and she was always in the back of my mind. I’m glad we have good results and think we took the first step towards the 25th anniversary of next year.
Did you have conflicting feelings when you left the main label?
IOH: More and more people participated as we caught up on Stardard, which meant that members talked to each other less and became harder to know what everyone was thinking. The tension was felt only to be built within the group. It was incredibly stressful for me. After returning to the Indie scene, I have to hear stories from people I probably never would otherwise would ever take and had all kinds of encounters. Sometimes people looked at us in a biased way, so it’s able to spill it as huge. I’m pretty sure each of us has our experiences. It feels like it gathered it all and connected that he created this good flow we have today.
Rio: I definitely felt conflicting. It felt like we were just ahead. Then I believed it was right. We have now come to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each other and have achieved good balance because each of us has our own role. Next year is our 25th anniversary, and I think it would be invincible if we all became professional at any time until we came to our 35th place.
Do you think that you could join the main label again and create a situation that you are today that the band now became firm now?
Rio: Oh, for sure.
IOH: I personally reveal a lot of new things when we go to the head (with sticker staff). Now there are more than one department than then and all of them are deeply analyzing things, so it is really interesting to hear what they have to say. I mean, everyone graduated from the good universities. (Laughter) You must submit them.
What are your thoughts on your performances at the first take? You released “Ikenai Taiyo” 18. July and 30. July “Hana”.
Rio: I was nervous.
Yamato: Maybe I came across nervous because my recent attitude was to take things a little serious. But I also noticed that I became more sensitive to tension in the last few years.
Is that that way?
Yamato: I grew up and I’m not as mobile as I used to be, so I started using my mind anymore. I’m someone who used to go only with the flow, relying on the instinct. After I stopped working and started trying to think about things, I realized in the last few years I didn’t do what I was supposed to do. I became more conscious of all kinds of things and I feel like I started putting more pressure on myself. Maybe it made me nervous.
Naoto: About that young cousin I mentioned earlier – I got a line that says, “And I was watching first.”
So you reach that demographic! Are there aspects you consciously focused or devoted special attention to that unique for the first time?
Yamato: I thought I’d do it like always working, but he noticed that there were a lot of parts I sing on shooting, but I’m not singing them live. We had discussions like “, should we get closer to the recording here?” We may also include this as a nice emphasis in future concerts.
Tell us about “Ikenai Taiyo (Reiva ver. Music Video).” How did that project come?
Hiroki: It was also something we started preparing a few months ago. He started as a proposal from the team, so I would actually like to ask them about it now. I imagine that there are individual steps that could visualize, like “Let’s do it, do it” and others where they were like “” Is that such a good idea? “All these points are connected to bring us to the place where we are now, and I’m curious about the extent they planned in advance.
MR staff: We had a lot of ideas, but the biggest factor was probably just me, but the whole team Sony Sony Music Records was incredibly happy to work again with orange rank. So there was a shared passion among the staff that would really expell things. I also considered that many people within the company have still thanked the behavior and musical activities of the band during their previous term, which we must have a proper way to make it appropriately, we have had to carry that legacy.
That is very interesting.
Staff: I think I first told the members that we wanted to re-examine last songs, knowing that they would probably not love that idea. But (those songs) glittered so great. I believed that polishing them further, there would be a moment above when the new bands would reach people properly. That’s why I put it out. So, it’s really like a starting point, passage and I’m excited to make new things together with the band, and get rid of new songs from here.
Tell us about your last single, “Hadashi No Ceccoli.” What was the original concept for creating?
Naoto: Our team asked us to write something like “Summer Boy for old orange orange”. It was an idea we wouldn’t act on myself and decide to go along with it. So, it’s more like a loneliness about an old orange range, not trying to create something new. But in the end, we gave us a new feeling and we realized that things like this definitely work.
Hiroki: During the last few years, we made songs fully based on our own verdict. So, this time we consciously tried to absorb and include opinions and ideas about different people. This was probably our way of thinking for this production. We didn’t really do things like a vocal rush in and the melody (first verse) “Shanghai honey” in recent years. Even with the texts, we intentionally went for this map Cheesy feeling, as “Remember how it was once?” As we made it. People don’t want to do the same thing again and want to try something different, you know? So we were like, “Maybe he’ll do it,” and have fun with that.
And finally, what are orange orange orange ambitions in orange way?
Hiroki: And for the first time we published “Hana”, so I hope that people looking for a girlfriend of Han accidentally click on our “Han” instead and becomes more attitudes.
Yamato: They both appear on the search.
Hiroki: It would be great to show up more when people are looking for “Hana”. (Laughter)
