Northern Ireland Football Fund: Twenty clubs go to the next phase of funding

Twenty clubs advanced in the next phase of the long-standing football Fund of Northern Ireland.

Of the 41 clubs that are eligible for funding stages, 38. It was applied and 20 has now been successful for the next phase.

Financing was initially published in 2011. years and, after 14 years of delay, progress has been made in January when Ekective Northern Ireland announced that clubs could apply for share of £ 36.2 million.

Minister of Community Gordon Lions said that there will be no guarantee financing, and further estimates and “strict depth checks will happen before the money.

Lions estimated that the cost of the department of all 20 projects was “just over 82 million pounds” and “estimated overall costs of the project” there was 98 million pounds.

Ballinamallard United, Ballimena United, Bandbridge Town, Bangor, Carrick Swifers, Glenavon, Larne, Lisburn Rangers, Loughgall, Nevri City, Oxford Sunniside, which consisted of £ 6,5 million to £ 6m.

The City of Armagh, Ballimacash Rangers, the Lisburn Distillery, the Kueens University and the Rathfriland Rangers were successful at the lowest level, for financing applications less than 1.5 million pounds.

Irish Premiership Clubs who were unsuccessful with their applications were Coleraine, Crusaders and Portadown.
