Arlington, Texas (AP) – Houston Astros returned Jake Meiers from the injured list before the game on Saturday after the centrally placed almost two monthly stamps of calf injury.
Meiers from 9. July did not play from 9. July, when deteriorating a strain right body made him leave Houston against Cleveland with the help of coach before the first terrain was thrown.

29-year-old Meiers hit .308 with three domestic races and 21 Rbis.
“Adding Jake, his defense and its offensive production, this year, it is a little more than,” Astros Manager Joe Espada said before the game on Saturday. “I’m excited to bring him back.”
