3-2-1: Post-OSU last and looks forward toward San Jose State

Back in the day, teachers gave us exercises thinking to help us visualize any task.

(Apply for internal Texas today for $ 1 and get the best coverage Longhorns!)

Fortunately, instead of analyzing the hamlet or cellular structure, we need to talk football as adults. Isn’t this the best time of the year?

It was not the best week of the year for Texas football, because the players had to carry the weight of the loss in Ohio’s state that felt so achievable. Here is a great map to show only how much this game was:

Basically, Texas was beaten while more successful team down compared to Ohio State. We all know that football is not playing on statistical leaves; Penalties, reversals and external factors play their part. But Texas knows the rest of the meat on the bone after the Sabbath match.

With five days between that game and two days separating us from football in DKR, here are three things we know, two things we don’t know and one thing we don’t want to know about San Jose playing.

1. The thing I know: The defense is an elite, and not even close to its superior potential

We saw the glimps about the defense of the Texas Elite could be on Saturday. The Osueva violence is on average under four yards per game and barely ecliped 200 total meters. They only turned one explosive game all the games. Texas Defense, mostly locked the misdemeanor that is not elite, but has qualities that would be frightened by any team in the nation.

Still, it is far from the finished product. Texas saw minimum return Colin Simmons and Anthony HillTwo of the best defensive players of the nations entering the year. They were combined for only eight struggles, none for loss or bags. The part of that may have been schemes, at least in Simmons’s case, but it won’t happen any game. The stars will appear.

Texas also kept some extremely talented players from the field. Derek Williams He only played 12 shots, Lance Jackson Seven, COLTON VASKE four and Justus Terri None. Not to mention Jonah Williams It gets healthier. The unit that went 18-deep against OSU may be closer to the 24th day later in the season.

Another thing I know: The offensive line blocked well but not in running

It is inclined to avoid RASH verdictions about the line before I transform the tape, so I didn’t talk a lot about it. After re-establishment, it is strange how much the two sides are constantly different.

The game passes, Texas often gave Bow manž Extremely clean pockets. From a few glitters OSUs sent, Texas picked them well (out of the final game). Trevor goosby was fantastic and Brandon Baker held his exterior outside.

But in the Texas game, the front joined the front. Isn’t that supposed to be strength? In my Article red zone I saw three offensive linement yesterday to keep a key error on the move in just six plays. They roared them in Los. The problem is that Texas is facing teams with the Talent of the NFL before it later. See Florida and Oklahoma’s DL DL depth – it’s terribly. It’s about going to go ahead.

The third thing I know: Texas worked well in the portal

It was a great day for portal supplements. Jack Endries It looked like an adjacent hand in the list. Four defensive bank transfer played well, especially Herod and Cole Brevard. Jack Bouvmeester It looked like the best people who nation, threw three within 20 meters of 46 meters. Wouldn’t it be great a year ago?

EMMETTE MOSLEY will be healthy and Brad Spence will get their chance as time goes. Out of swing offensive cans – which would be beautiful on Saturday – I think Texas is good job not excessive investment and clogged groups of positions. They filled the needs and found very good players.

1. The thing I don’t know: Nothing about this receiving corpus

Do you feel self-confidence entering any take with this group? When Manning is missing a third of his throws, it’s hard. Ryan Vingo It should be more involved, but there were cases when the bow simply did not give him a chance.

The same goes Deandra MooreWhich was open far more than you would expect from someone who is one catch all day. Parker Livingstone He had a great game and it’s a kind of statistical line you’d like to see in big games from him.

The next three weeks will be good for all three, and also plenei as it gets healthy, plus players development like Kalik Lockett and Dailan McCutcheon.

Another thing I don’t know: How many leasheses are in September?

I feel my self-confident Sark will use September to rest key defensive players. There is no way that the start of starter and stars will be overloaded. I can count eight guys that should be on the number of slopes. Texas won’t miss the beat without them.

But what about the misdemeanor? You can say that about the defense because they proved its worth, but do we trust in a criminal offense? Each individual player on that side must be reinforced, not just a bow manning.

The receivers must get more open, launching the feedback to hit explosive, and the offensive line must overcome less defenders if they have hope to match the provisions. Andy can be the only guy you feel confident in rest.

It’s a double edge sword, because this young unit needed more reps in the game, but you don’t want to risk injuries. You also want younger playmakers behind them to be ready to go. How fast is the beginners withdraws if the Texas ended the big, say halfway through the third quarter of Saturday?

1 thing I want to know: How is Manning reacting?

I miss when the Faculty fans gave teams at least to the conference before sharper judgments. Maybe it was never the case, as with a lot of nostalgia.

Anyway, Manning became scared on Saturday. His behavior was different in twice when we talked to him ever since. The whole world of CFB calls it bust.

But there is still anywhere from 11-15 games in 2025. years. If Texas travels 5-0 over the next six weeks, no one will remember in Ohio. Texas will return to the top three, and arch will again be a favorite fan.

So how does Manning react? Does it fire well scripting a drift drive and continue to inspire awe-featuring performances, as well as against smaller teams last season? Or is it still embarrassing, which makes a bad advised throwing bad mechanics? If that is the last, we will need uncomfortable conversations.
