The latest oven for Pizza Ooni adds AI on your slice

Have you ever looked at your pizza oven and wished it was just a little smarter? It is, so its new Volt 2 comes with loaded “Intelligence” pizza, “, adaptive heating system designed to deliver even more and consistent cooking temperature.

Volt 2 is an internal oven, able to cook pizzas to a diameter of up to 13 inches, but it is still small enough to fit in terms of consumption – even though we found other indoor ovens too smoke to really be used in. Intelligence for pizza is new for Volt 2 and uses sensor data to adjust the upper and lower heating elements, “Minimize temperature and cold places fluctuations”. It’s a little less exciting than the name says.

Volt 2 has a maximum temperature of 850 Fahrenheit, right in the recommended range for cooking traditional Neapopolitan pizza, which should take about 90 seconds. It is one of three settings, with a New York and deep pizza, and the oven “adjusts the intensity of temperature and cross” to suit each style. You can also add programmable custom settings if you prefer a different type of pie.

Volt 2 will be available from 1. October for £ 499 (about $ 670).
