Documentary based on Lauren Smiley’s story about New York magazine from January “Who was Cyberbulling Kendra Licari’s teenagers?” – Set as a mystery, with the revelation that it was a mother Lauran Person, who tortured her as Gute. The BODICAMIC shows in “Unknown Number: It was said that Kendra caught caught and watching her world breaks up in real time is like watching the fall of cars.
Variety They talked to “unknown number: director of Skie Borgman, who recently directed Netflix’s” Fit for TV “- the reality of the biggest loser”.
You had an incredible approach to a large pool of people involved in this case, including Oval, police, FBI agents who worked, and even Kendra Person, who was in August 2024. served sentence from prison. Was it challenging to convince them that everyone is part of this doctor and why do you think they agreed to be in it?
We all talked that they had such great feelings about this story. It was very direct for them and that was very raw. So, ask them to sit and talk to us really the question of gaining their trust and understanding why they wanted to tell their story. Mostly people just wanted to hear and thought it was an important story to say that because of the cyberbulific element. There was an incredible traumatization to anyone involved.

You have shown some of the texts that are sent, but how much did you go during the pre-production?
It was like 350 pages with more text messages on each page. Kendra and (Owen’s Mom) Jill would print them and handed them into law enforcement. So there were thousands and thousands of texts we have passed.
During the interview with Kendra, she seemed remorse, but did you ever feel like putting her on an act?
Kendra is a little enigma. I think she had a lot of time to think about what she did. She was on therapy when she was closed and I believe he still sees a therapist. She put the thought in what she did. I don’t know that she was fully understood or admitted what she did or why she did it. I guess only Kendra could really answer that.
I would never want to show my face again whether I’m her. Why do you think she sat down for your cameras?
She was nervous because of going to the camera, because she was just sitting and telling her story sometimes reality. But she was so great and she actually finished really loving experience. Eventually she said it was kind of fun. She laughed with things and I think it was really an opportunity to think about things a little more depth. Every time I asked the question, she would really have to think about some things and I think that was really good for her.
You set up a doctor so that at the beginning of the film, when Kendra was interviewed, the audience has no idea that she is the culprit. The mother who went through hell is like. And then about half way through the movie, there’s a turn. Was there always a plan that it seems to look innocent and then discovered revealing?
It was really based on her interview. We Sat Down And Talked With Her, And Because of What We Knew And What We Had Come To Find Out In The Story, We Felt That It Was We Did Before We Revealed That It Was Her Who Committed the Cyberstalking.
Bodicamic shots of Kendra who said police officers who were caught, and then she had to tell her daughter and her husband, whether she was goulash. Did you know the recording existed when you started making this doctor?
We worked with law enforcement and prosecutor to access that video, which is so speaking. When we first cut the movie, we just played the entire interest recordings for the entire time. We couldn’t stop watching him. We deeply invested in looking at how to play. Finally, we realized we couldn’t play 20 minutes.
You are also aimed “abducted in an ordinary scene”, which had its fair share of twist and turn. Did the “unknown number” reminded of “kidnapped in ordinary vision”?
In all these stories, from “abducted in an ordinary form” on “an unknown number,” people behave and what drives them according to such behaviors that are probably one of the more interesting aspects of each story. There are a lot of moments of falling fork, but I really are the behavior of people. That’s what makes him so fascinating.
