IOS 26 beta brings AI abstracts back to news but with warning

Apple has posted the fifth public beta version iOS 26 25. August and Beta brings new Fluent glass Design to Iphones developer and beta saw, with other updates such as Screening calls. IOS 26 Beta warns of the abundance summaries

When I updated the latest IOS 26 beta, it was greeting me with some screenshots looking for different permits. One spray screen was for abstracts and notifications. When you see this screen, you have two options: Select Notifications to be or Not now. If you touch Not nowSpray screen disappears.

If you touch Choose notifications to be, You are taken to a new page where you will see three categories: News and Entertainment, Communication and Social and All Other Applications. The hull of one of these categories allows for applications for applications in that category. Below the newspaper and entertainment category, it is warned in red if you touch it.

“The summary can change the meaning of the original title,” the warning reads, adds, “Confirm information”.

The beta is also a warning over the bottom of the screen reading: “This is a beta function. Abstracts can contain errors.”

After touching the categories you want, tap Summarize selected notifications over the bottom of the screen. If you have selected all the categories this button will read Summarize all notifications.

And if you don’t want this summary, you can touch Do not summarize notifications. If you allow these summaries and dislike them, you can easily turn them off. Here’s how.

How to turn off abstracts and notifications

1. Touch Settings.
2. Touch Notifications.
3. Touch Summarize notifications.
4. Tap on Summarize notifications Switch to a new menu.

You can also follow the above steps to turn on AI notifications again. You will need to choose and what categories you want and these summaries.

Remember, this feature is still in beta, so it could be Buggy, and Apple could change or remove it when IOS 26 was released to the general public. There is no definitive date when Apple will issue iOS 26.
