Cleveland’s guards still have the opportunity to reach the moat, with a calendar only one day away from the transition in September.
On the one hand, it may not be all surprising. The guards won US League Central The division last year and advanced to the series of American Championship League, where they won the New York Yankees.
On the other hand, it is surprisingly that the guards are still in a violation. This season was not almost magical like 2024.
The guards lost a series of 10 games of 26. June 6. July, which lowered 15 ½ games behind divisional detrio tigers and seemed to turn off any hope effectively.
Emmanuel Class, their three-hour star closer, did not become from 26. July. He is on Restriction list Along with the right starter Luis Ortiz as part of the gambling of the main baseball league investigation. There is a chance that both players will get a lifetime ban.
Guards’ The offense was awful The whole season. Cleveland’s .224 Average hitting is the lowest in the main leagues, and the guards are closed 15 times.
However, with four weeks and one day left in season, the guards are three games from the last Al Divlj-tabs despite a 68-66 Record. The Mariner currently holds the third wilderness, but the guards gained two games about Visit Seattle in two nights by winning Friday and Saturdays at the progressive field.
The guards have a battle uphill to make the house of the dogs. However, they say they don’t leave.
“I think it just shows that we have our backs on each other,” said the All-Star Left Fielder Steven Kwan said that the guards were still in excellence. “This year there was some time, and we always didn’t always play great, but I think we never stop trusting each other.
“It’s easy when you lose just to guess as much home races or just to block everything. Everyone contributes. Everyone contributes. The defense is great. The defense is great.
The guards won four games in a row after the expiration of nine losses in 10 games that seemed to kill their last remaining hopping hopes. Still, if the guards again beat Mariner on Sunday to sweep a series with three games, they will be even closer to the last wild card.
Stephen Vogt Guardian was Al Manager of the year last year in her first season at work and only two years after withdrawal as a player. It could be a bigger feat if this season can get guards to playoffs.
Vogt, however, rejects the loan to his players.
“I am super proud of this group,” Vogt said. “They are inserted in the hose throughout this year. Some of her are on our own behavior. But no matter what happens, they are a resistant group. They don’t go. And they don’t go. And they don’t go.

The class loss is injured in two possible ways.
One, the guards lost closer who led al in each of the last three seasons with 42 in 2022, 44. at 2023. and 47. in 2024. Class turned Class this year.
Second, the guards could deal with Class until 31. July deadline and received a package of young strokes in return.
Instead, setting up reliever Cade Smith became the primary closer after Clase went to the limit list. Smith retired retired retires in retirement to receive a 4-3 victory.
Smith said he and other relivers tried to take simple access to Clase absent.
“It’s not about trying to make up and do too much,” Smith said. “It’s about it, you have to believe what you’re doing well, you believe what the guys in noise can do, which are their strengths. Everyone has itself only in it. It really tries to do too much.
“It’s just one day at the time and faced the challenge we have ahead, and the goal is just looking forward to the game that evening every day.”
It can seem simple and somewhat cliché. Still, it works.
And Cleveland Guards keep a unique goal in mind: “We have one thing we focused and it plays in October,” Kvan said.
