Preservation without law enforcement is pure idealism

There is something particularly awful in imagining a marine creature that dies with drowning; It is unnatural, contradictory. When we arrived, she immediately took us to Orissa coast (now Odisha) and this open grave. She believed as well as we, that direct action is what works. The effect was immediate. The corpus of the tortoise stopped washing on the coast. The arrests sent a strong message for towing messages that the government was serious with law enforcement and its intentions to protect the turtles.
