Even in August, the visit to the east coast of England can be dark.
Blusters Winds are getting across Cleethorpes Beach, where Grimsby Town is based, and temperatures are often far below the sun level.
However, when Manchester United arrived at the North Shore of Lincolnshire for Kupa Carabao Match, team would expect a walk on the beach, not a face of a lot of salty water.
After all, this was a club in the fourth level of English football, playing at the level that even a mismatched team of the Prime Minister of League should dispatch.
But what took place in Cleethorpes was a nightmare. Manchester United was 0-2 down after just half an hour, and even though the team gathered to tie the game and took it in an extension of time, then they managed to lose their punishments.
Even by Ruben Amorim’s highly emotional standards, statements made by postgames of coach were explained.
“I think these are little borders,” he said to the media after that. “Something has to be changed. At this point we have to focus on the weekend, and then we have time to think.
“Everything (wrong). The way we started the game, we are not even so important in our club, everything that happens in our club. I just need to say sorry for our fans. What they want to speak today.” I think my players are really loud.
From the moment it was at the start of Trafford, Amorim raised the possibility of leaving the club.
When asked to explain what he was thinking of the players’ show “loudly,” the Portuguese coach said, “I think it’s easy for you (to know).”
“Let’s focus on the next game and then we have stops for international games. We will think things today. The best team was right.”

Amorim’s public messages is fascinating because they defy practically all conventions on football manager.
When he first arrived in England, I was one of many who wondered if there was an invisible strategy behind his regular emotional outbursts; Are they more calculated than we are guided to believe?
We have on a stage where we can say no. This is a man without a filter, a coach who is honest on an error.
Enough evidence is given when he doubled or probably intensified his comments on loud players who speak loudly at the press conference before the action this weekend.
“Every time we have such a defeat in the future, I will be like that,” he said.
“I’ll tell me sometimes I hate my players, sometimes I love my players, sometimes I want to defend my players.
“This is my way to do things and to be like that. At that point I was so frustrated and annoyed. And I know you have a lot of experienced people who suggest to perform with the media, to be constant, to be constant.”
This type of dishonored discourse is refreshing in the game filled with dishonest, swivel and secret media briefings. Many players are probably feeling like that; At least they know where they stand, and the rest of the world.
The problem is that if no one else follows this methodology and that emotional outlines without a filter, cannot be returned to the bite.
Amorim’s public disagreements with players have escalated situations that could be resolved that they remained behind closed doors and destroyed his team after defeats has questionable values for the group already struggling for self-confidence.
As a manager said, many problems with red devils start in the minds of the players.
“I feel the players always think about the past,” he added.
“They think there’s something in water or food here. It’s in our mind. We just have to think about the next game. Now we need to answer the next game.”
Amorim was also optimistic about the next result and satisfied with what he saw in the field for training from horror emissions in Lincolnshire.
“I’ve been entrusted because I saw them play really good in hard matches, and I see it in training; I was very much better. I was shocked (in Grimsby)”.
“We need to focus on a lot of things. Players always think in the past, it’s in our mind. We have to focus on the next game. We threw the level and we have to answer.
“Last match, we had moments where I had a feeling that when it was hard, we must change that feeling. We have to work on it, it’s the next game.” We can answer Saturday. “We can answer.”
But the truth is that Manchester United, or any club on that issue, cannot survive, let alone advance, in the environment guided by such emotional instability.
The image is clear, I will not change, and that is why his departure from Manchester United is only a matter of time.
