Portland Trail Blazers are probably finished their main list moving in the regular season 2025-26. News Jrue Holidays and Yang Hansen will join performances like Deni Avdije, Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara, while Blazers move in a bold new phase of their re-growth.
The start of the season is still a month and a half, leaving space for the abundance of speculative topics. There is one we run every year. It’s among my favorites. That goes like this.
If you could choose one former Blazers player from any era to join this team, who would it be?
The space is not completely loop. The answers differ from year to year, because changes are set. The answers reveal where people see weak spots in the list, also where they experience valuable opportunities for interconnection of synergy.
Past nominated – in addition to obvious stars – included Scottie Pippen, Jerome Kerse, and even occasional mention of Strickland and Andre Miller. The only rule as you have made your choice is that, in most part, we just count that the wet player is as valid. For example, you can’t get the version of Pippen in Chicago, nor Soviet team Arvidas Sabonis. You need to take the players in the same condition that they reached the franchise.
I usually have opinions about this year and this year is not different … although my player is election. This year is the choice as clear as me. If I could transport one player in their main Portland year to the current list, it would be Rasheed Wallace. It brings everything that needs: height, defense, scoring and at least a threat to shoot in three points. (Unlike healing modern coaches, we would drop it out of the port.) He is underestimated by a passer-by and a huge synergistic / team guy on the floor … a star who will not seize other potential stars. Game forward, but can also slide to the center, where it could start for current blabberies. I can’t think of a single player who would have a bigger impact as he asked perfectly in composition without great disorders.
