And that requires swallowing our pride here, isn’t it? It’s like we should actually learn from China, although American politicians don’t want to admit it.
Yes. I think everyone should all swallow pride. My personal philosophy is that if someone wants to serve shit, my answer will always be, “Please, sir, can I get another?” So we should all live.
Do you think that technical companies prefer to work in the country running an engineer like China, not American law firm?
Companies generally like to have a certain degree of rule by engineers. Since engineers are much more focused on doing very rational things, like understanding how to build a great metro system. Maybe their regulations are also more rational.
That doesn’t mean that the lawsuits are bad everywhere. Sometimes companies have a great time to sue each other and protect their intellectual property. But, in general, a common feeling among the business elites is that the Chinese government understands us. You see that with Elon musk, praising the Chinese Prime Minister who helped him build gigafactors in Shanghai.
But you too He wrote lately This entrepreneurs and managers can sometimes feel unhappy because the Chinese government changes its mind so abruptly.
Sometimes this is the case that the engineering state treats many societies and economics as well as simply another engineering problem. They try to enlarge the population, and now, to have more children, or economies, to serve profitable sectors in sectors that better serve in sectors and these efforts are often returned, because economy and society are not relatively simple systems like really large Hydropower plants.
One of the basic conclusions you draw is that the government will take engineering to bring rational decisions. At some extent, I agree with you, but I don’t know if I can trust the Chinese government always makes a rational decision. Such insecurity, isn’t that bad for companies?
Yes, I think six years lived in China realized that the government could be too Effective.
This idea to be fixed on a particular goal and only filling it at full speed.
That’s right. And live through experience with colleague zero, I think something I realized is that the line between rationality and irrationality is kind of blurred.
Has this experience affected your belief that China should be 50 percent of the council?
It would be good that people had some way to claim against some of these horrible things, like a single child’s policy. I don’t worry that China will ever become just like a lawyer company and can’t be able to build almost anything at all. It would be great that China can have some actual procedural protective measures, and for the United States have reasonable costs associated with construction infrastructure and within reasonable time lines.
