Jason Collins, the first open Gay player of the NBA now serves as an ambassador to the league, is treatment for the brain tumor, announced Thursday.
“Jason and his family welcome your support and prayers and kindly seek privacy because they pay attention to Jason’s health and prosperity,” Collins family “announced in a statement issued by the NBA.
Collins retired in 2014 years after a 13-year-career involving stopping with New Jersey Nets, Memphis, Minnesota, Atlanta, Boston, Washington and back in the networks after moving to Brooklyn. He announced that Gay 2013, becoming the first public Gay athletes who played in any of the four main ones to North American Sports Leagues.

Collins average 3.6 points and 3.7 jumps per game in his career on average. In its best season, there is an average of 6.4 points and 6.1 jump per game for the then network from New Jersey in 2004-05.
