UCF said that on Wednesday that the offensive coach Shawn Clark was hospitalized after experiencing medical help in the evening.
“(Clark) is currently in a stable state and receiving appropriate care,” the statement said. “Coach (Scott) Frost and our staff of football and administrations fully support the coach of Clark and his loved ones at the time and our thoughts and prayers are from Shawn and his family. The updates will be divided as needed.”

Clark, 50, joined the UCF staff after Frost was engaged because of his second term with knights after leaving Gus Malzahn to the state of Florida.
Clark was the main coach of Appalachian’s situation for five seasons before arriving in UCF.
