John Fogerti is a rock and a roll hall of a fashion that, for 80, still touring – these days with its two sons who are members of his band.
As the founder, Frontman and primary reclaimer Creedence Clearvater (CCR), a fagister wrote a long list of iconic hits, “Happy Son”, “Have you ever seen the rain”, “bad moon”, “Bad Moon”, “. As a successful solo artist, he wrote and recorded “old man down the road”, “central”, “and more.
On Monday night in Nashville, BMI presented Fogertia with Trobadour 2025 award.

The award has recognized artists whose music has overcome both genres and generations and helped in the form of American music.
Bored recipients include John Shane, Billy F. Gibbons, John Hiatt, John Oates, Roberta Earl Keen and Lucinda Williams.

It was a video of West and Congratulations Dolly Parton, John Oates and Eric Church, and then everyone was sitting as if colleagues of artists took them to the stage to start fogerty.
Contractors included Billy F. Gibbons and La Marisoul (“Green River”), Lainei Wilson, Jai Buchanon, Jesse Wells (“Have you ever seen a rain”) and war and contract on you “) and war and contracts.

In accepting the award, the Fogerti said Caokstini that he could not really believe what was happening.
“I’m really overwhelmed that’s so much tonight, so many people I’m fans. You touched me the things you said and the way you’ve been singing. I hope I have proved worthy of all care.”
California born noticed how much it meant to him that Nashville community hugged him and his music.
“I grew up my whole life that I admire Nashville, singing and instrumental. Chet Atkins was one of my first guitar heroes, and looked at that here. So that tonight.” Is it completely giving me up here. “God really surprised me.”

The fogerty touched the long battle for decades to control published rights to many classics written and recorded with CCR. He has not performed those songs in his plays live for years. 1985. He was sued for the song he wrote years after leaving CCR. The lawsuit targeted that Solo hit the “old man down the road”, claiming that he took his CCR song “running through the jungle”
“You’re looking at a guy who actually sues because of the sound like alone,” Fogister said. “Being sued to sound like it’s actually a very serious thing and it took several years of my life and a lot of money. I had to go to the United States Supreme Court.”
The fogerty won that litigation, and 2023. years, more than 50 years after his CCR songs were originally released, he bought publishing rights from Concord Records. Now the owner of his music.
Just recorded new versions of these CCR favorites for your new album Inheritance. The 20 track collection contains many of its biggest hits.

While he finished his remarks, the fogerty needed time to thank her near family, starting with her wife, Julie.
“She saved my life,” he said. “She saw a person in me, through all the mess that was out of the way. And it was ever since Julie. And the amazing thing is now with our two sons. They are in my band.”
He then lowered the microphone and a lot to the surprise of all in the room, he entered the stage with his sons for Nothom Mini-show. They had a crowd and moving with high energy versions “around the bend,” “the old man down the road,” and “bad month grows”.

In life and music, the fogerty has a lot to celebrate. His passion for his songs and performing live is obviously apparently as “stuck” with his boys.
For more than six decades after starting a career, John Fogerty is still Rockin. ‘And that’s good news for music fans.
