So you were born in Brooklyn, as you said, but they raised you to Maryland, didn’t they? In the suburbs, one of the first planned communities in the United States.

Talk to me a little about your childhood. How did they inform that where are you today?

I was so born in Brooklyn. We lived in Ridgewood, Queens, for a moment –

It wasn’t in the 80s, but I’ll let my father release.

My mother was in a couple that overreacted their visa because she was in love with my father. Luckily Ice wasn’t there to deport her. Eventually, they married and got a green card, but Mom was undocated for several years down there. And my father was born American, but Armenian parents, survivors of genocides. This had a fairly big impact on me.

My mother did a variety of jobs, but in the end it was a pharmacy technician in Maryland. She came and got Ged, but it was her highest level of education. And then my father was a tourist agent who was a career in the 80s.

He started working in Baltimore, so we moved when I was 6 or 7 years old. I had aunts and relatives and uncle and uncle in town and I was very jealous of how cool that would live in New York. But it ended that it was really good childhood. Good schools, and I could hang out with friends all day only cyclic around the beech.
