Visconsin Badgers Coach Kelly Sheffield discusses the Millwaukee winning
Here’s what Coach Visconsin Kelly Sheffield said after three lumps were lump over UV-Milwaukee 9. September on the field.
Madison – Wisconsin Volleyball “He gave up a lot of points based on hesitation” in his first weekend, as a chief coach Kelly Sheffield saw it.
“Take it in clusion,” Sheffield said. “Defensively, who will get inside and get another ball when digging or aisle is a agre.”
Madgers’ Sept 9. Sevaca vs. UV-MILVAUKEE There was a lot different story in UV terrain, because Visconsin rolled his enemies in the state, 25-7, 25-15, 25-11.
“I haven’t seen any of that tonight,” Sheffield said. “I saw a team who curses the ball and just created really aggressive moves. And I think it’s a sign that grows and is a little more comfortable with each other.”
Visconsin hit .457 in victory. Milwaukee, on the other hand, hit minus-.014.
“Whenever you keep an opponent to negative, I think it does a pretty good job,” Sheffield said.
Here are three more separations from the fourth winning season win:
Grace Egan quickly gave 5,934 fans on the field in the field something that would be listed with three service to the first six Visconsin points, including services back to the time of Milvaukee.
During its service time, Wisconsin is leadership in the first set baloned from 2-1 to 8-1.
“Grace set a tone for this match behind the service line,” Sheffield said.
The transfer of Ohio graduated from a set with huge five services. Visconsin record for ACS services in the whole match in the 15 point points is six, which happened four different times.
Egan had no more services in the victory of the three, but she had other excellent annuvers set by her teammates in the victory of low stress. One of her serves from another set, for example, it is not counted as a service asa in boxes, but it had so much power that attempted digging perfectly established Alicia Andrew Kill.
“When I return to serve, I’m like (on Andrew),” Get ready for the overpass, we’ll ask that, “Egan said with laughter.
Gadgers had a clear advantage over Milvaukee online, thank you in the great part of the extraordinary performances from the middle blockers Carter Booth and Alicia Andrew.
“I thought we made a really good job to set up our block, we move, to be physically online,” Sheffield said, “and then ours was picked up all the rest.”
Visconsin ended the night with 11-3 advantage in blocks. Galzari had so many blocks against Milvaukee, because she had in three victories through UC and Chicago states in combination.
“It’s quite a little three sets, but there are moments not to get many blocks, but you block it well. It’s positive touching or making them hit them in the recordings.”
Booth had team to high eight blocks together with four murders. Andrew had three blocks of assists and effectively eight kills on 10 total attacks (.800). Andrew, Baylor transmission, filmed eight plus kills in three of the first five UV games in the season and strikes extremely .547.
“Her preseason was one level, and when we entered the game, it’s a completely different level of her,” Sheffield said about Andrew.
It is not a total surprise, as Andrew ranked the fifth in a large 12 last year in the percentage of punching. But she was impressed by Sheffield.
“She loves to compete,” Sheffield said. “She doesn’t panic there on the field. Cleans all the overpasses, it seems available, hit the range. … It’s fun to watch. She’s a great player.”
Oregon Transfer Mimi Colier, Aldi American from 2024. year, once again had the role of staring in the vine victory.
She had 16 murders – more than all Milvaukee’s census in combination – while there is only one attack mistake. Its .600 Percentage of hitting only Andrew’s .800 and Charlie Fuerbringer’s .750 and it was with a much larger amount of attack.
“This was a really strong match for Mimi,” Sheffield said.
Colier sees the value in his “extensive range” as teams can scout badger better deeper in the season.
“If I can’t guess the recordings of A and B, then I have to go to C, D, E and so on,” Colier said. “And I think Charlie really does a really good job to give me all these options at every unique attempt to take.”
