The Executive Producer Rob Laduka wanted to return a lot of loved ones “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse“He finally got a wish for years and this summer.
After 10 years of Hiatus, the show returned every Friday to Disney Jr. and Disney + in its new incarnation as “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse +”.
After working on shows such as “Jake and never – land pirates” and “Mickey and Roadster Racers” ladies, with a career that extends four decades, if it was time to retire. But then he got a call to ask if he wanted to do more club home, and the ladders were in business.
Here, the ladda spoke about honor Mickey’s legacy and why Velt Walt Disney’s mouse is so loved.
What was important in honor of the heritage of Mickey and friends?
We kept a very selected world in a club house who mickey opulated in early cartoons. Donald, Daisy and Clarabelle Cow would make the look. Goofy was always there. It was the same group of friends.
They originally wanted to do the show in Montenegro, but I was trying to convince them not to them. There were certain things, like Mickey’s ears. In the 3D world, his ears looked like satellite dishes on her head. So, we had to understand the computer to push the ears as he turned. There were a lot of challenges, but it turned out to be fun. We now have the freedom to do textures, color and shading and the world seems much more beautiful in this version of the show.
Another factor that stands out in the show is a song. To the second verse, the texts have become ears. What is the secret that?
I would have to ask our composer, Mike Himelstein, who made our music in the original show. He was happy to return, and we always worked together together. A lot has come from what I liked to dance. When I was a little kid, it was a wound rock and roll, or boogie-voogie.
The children seem to have a very little attention span, but the episodes lead for 22 minutes. How do you consider it when you put episodes together?
I thought that with a 22-minute show in two to five years, we definitely have to focus them. It was a little dramatic, and there is a problem that we need your help to solve. It was mostly because Mickey talked to the audience. We are looking for help in the adventure and authorized that children are involved. Friends also have very different personalities. Mickey is a good guy, and he’s everyone’s friend. Minnie is totally beautiful, and goofy is just a big gof. He slides on things and says, “Oops.” I think they enjoy all the personalities.
You mentioned animating Mickey’s ears. What other conversations do you have with a team about animating this world?
The characters are zucchini and stretch as if they were in the old days. Advances in computer animation and displays are huge. We can do it much more expression on the characters. Ludwig von Drake was always a little stiff in the past, now is very animated and a lot of fun.
We added a second level this time. There are attic and shock pipes. Mickey, Minnie and Daises can be very easily increased. The Wacky Tube is actually not interested in Donald and knows that Donald is frustrating. So it’s fun to tighten it, which I noticed a lot of children laughing.
Also make a 2-minute shorts on YouTube. What are the challenges of that storytelling medium?
Condenses this world into two-minute video, which is how, unfortunately, a lot of older children consume content. So, half of them are songs, and it’s easy, but funny things in the song and who keep kids happening. With others, we limit yourself to a simple story, we have a problem with which Mickey helps. Entertainment is the ultimate goal.
What would you say is the reason for this love? Why do people like Mickey Mouse and friends after all these years?
Everyone wants a good friend and that’s what Mickey is. He is cute, useful and always there for you when you need. He’s just such a character. I think it’s just a human nature you want someone in your life relies and know, who will be reliable?
