Amazon and Hertz team to the sale of used cars online

Amazon expands its car in the market, Infunctioning contract with car rental Giant Hertz sell certified used cars rent through Amazon Autos. Bathers can review, finance and lock on the vehicle online and then pick it up with a Hertz car sales Lot in one of the four launches, including Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle. The program plans to eventually spread on all 45 locations of Hertz sales at the level across the country.

The partnership, announced last week, adding Hertz inventory to the Amazon-growing car platform, which was debuted with Hyundai dealers last December. The vehicles will come with prices without Haggla, inspection of 115 points, coverage of warranty and seven-day return.

‘Not a gamer player’

However, some see restrictions on the go.

Antuan Goodwin, a CNET senior writer and an expert on the auto industry, notes that it is, while this change is safe spread, it is “not gift transmission”.

“If Amazon has shipped cars to your house, it would be crazy, but you still need to get to the dealer within three days,” Goodwin said. “It’s just a different portal on the same car used.”

For now, the partnership emphasizes Amazon’s strategy to become a layer of market in auto-retail, simplifying detection and purchase, even if the last mile of downloads are still lying to the seller.
