The latest AP poll has disappeared. After a dramatic first week of action, it has not changed much at the top of the ranking with most teams that pull out victories, but it was still pretty much movement in the whole whole.
And we saw some anxiety and impressive victories with four ranked teams (the Arizona State Sun Devils, Florida Gators, Michigan Volverines and SMU Mustangs) All loss – Florida, SMU and ASU are no longer ranked as a result.
The best seven schools in ranking, on the other hand, surpassed their opponents combined 307-26. In all, four AP-ranked teams have achieved 70 or more points, the second time occurred in AP surveys ERI (since 1936).
