Another week, another pips to solve. This one was cunning! I had more medium-level problems today than I think I’ve ever had, and the hard level also scored me for a spell. At least the easy level was super simple. . . . Let’s dive right!

In PIPS you have a multicolor box network. Any colored area represents a different “state” you need to achieve. You have a number of Domin’s products that you need to spend charging in the network. You must use each domino and to achieve any condition correctly to win. There are easy, medium and heavy layers.
Here is an example of difficulty tier pipes:

As you can see, the network has a bunch of symbols and numbers with each color. On the other hand, three purple squares must not be one of the same equal (hence the equal sign stopped). Two pink squares next to that must be equal to a total of 0. Zig-zeagging blue square must be equal to each other. Click on Domains to rotate them and they will need to rotate to fit where they belong.
Not shown on this network are other conditions, such as “less than” or “higher”. If there are multiple tiles with> or To win, you must use all your domins by filling out all squares, be sure to fit each state. Play today’s puzzles here. Below are solutions for simple and medium plates. After that, I’ll walk you through a difficult puzzle. Spoiler forward. Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain Let’s make complete hallways of today’s heavy pips. It starts like this: Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain As you can see, this kind looks like a dog. It’s easy to stick, the medium is a frieze or vessel, and the dog is difficult. That’s right, that’s mine. But where do you start? The most obvious place is the foot of the dog. There is an orange 1 tile next to blue 0, and that is a rather specific state. I put 1/0 Domino there and 0/2 domino up in the purple group <3 as so: Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain At this point, however, I was good and properly bastarded. We have so many conditions to consider! There are two = groups up at the back / tail part of the dog. The front legs is a pink> 15 group (I looked at and thought it was a group, which gripped me into one point). We have dark blue = to consider. VOF. I tried a few things here, and I pretty badly started starting from the dog’s head and headed down. So I cleaned the plate (except the first two tiles) and instead focused on the central area instead of the front leg. I was warehoused 0/3 Purple plates <3 up in green = and 0/4 plates of green = in dark blue =. Then I filled the pink group with double 5/5 Domino and 5/2 domino up in dark blue = as so: Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain So far, it’s so good, but we’re not from weed yet. At this point, I worked on the assumption that green = had to be 3 and I noticed that I still had 4/4 domino. Pink = Group (tail) required double, so I set it there, and then I put 3/4 domino from green in pink. I had to finish the Green = group, so I put 3/5 domino from green in dark blue = and then finished that group by putting 3/2 domino from dark blue = in orange 6. This remained just head. Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain The rest of the groups were the total number, which was one of the reasons that starting to be a bad idea in the first place. Too many ways to complete the total groups. Fortunately, I only at this point have only a few Domains left. I put 4/1 domino in the orange 6, finishing it, and 1 that goes up in Blue 2. I set 1/5 blue 2 in purple 10 and last Domino, 5/2 chip, made of purple 10 in the open plate. That did the trick! Today’s Pips Screenshot: Erik Cain It’s possible it’s a cat, but I’m more people. In addition, if it’s easy stick, it doesn’t make sense for a cat. One of the many shortcomings of the machines is not interested in playing. Of course, you can get a cat to chase the laser and it’s pretty funny, and I guess the easy level could be a laser. But I’m going with a dog. What a good puppy is like!
