Ken Dridenwho was on the call for “wonder on ice” after the hallway halls, died at the age of 78 after combat cancer.
Driden won six Stanley Cup in a short eight-year career, all with Montreal Canadiens. He is NHL’s sancer in adapted goals – against average (2.03) and percentage percentage (73).
He won the trophy in a Visa, which was given to the top goalkeeper in the league, five times. In his first year of eligibility, he enters the hockey hall of the glory.

“Ken Driden was an exceptional athletes, but he was an exceptional man,” the owner of Canadiens Molson said. “Behind the mask was bigger than life. We do not only losing the cornerstone of one of the biggest dynasties of hockey, but also a family man, a thoughtful citizen and the gentleman who have deeply influenced our lives and communities.
