Director “Knife + Heart” Iann Gonzalez has re-teamed up with frequent associates Vanessa Paradis and M83 Frontman Anthony Gonzalez – Filmmaker’s brother – I will forget your name, selected Gothic drama for this year’s Venice for funding gauze.
Wrote and directed by Gonzalez, produced by Pan Cinema based in Paris, with music by other Gonzalez, the film follows a 50-year instructor in a small village whose night encounters are in a darker turn when it falls on a young man who soon disappears, sending is a mysterious and night path.
Construction in their experience with “knife + heart”, which is premiered in the CANNES 2018 competition. Year, Gonzalez expressed this new project specifically for paradis. Cynology manages global sales, with Chanel that delivers key costumes.
“This comes from a personal place and is less referencing than my previous films,” explains Gonzalez. “IT centara in the woman of my age, so I naturally touches the questions: the desire at this stage of life, ways we move on to intimacy and relationship as we become older and access to mortality. It is a movie about the ray.”

Taken at 35 mm supplies “Anatomy Pad” DP Simon Beaufils, Macabre Thriller pulls Italian Gillo to inspiration, and Gonzalez quotes Mimes Francesco Barilli, which emphasized “Ladies Dame perfume in Black”.
“I wanted to make a mental maze, a Gothic story with horror hints,” he says. “Some elements remember my previous job, but this time there is no comedy. It’s a more serious film – even though we had a lot of fun.”
Filmmaker also teamed up with an artist and composer Alain Garcia Vergara on a decisive anthology for adult “Memory of the Ground”, which Gonzalez describes as “Queer Porn Mictape”.
“Music allows everything on the set,” he explains. “We take eight fishing we love, and each turned into a short porn movie, all held within the 70-minute function. If we can live in midnight squat, the fun in which people would love. Putshow would be with a dream.
