Jessica Pegula wanted revenge.
Arina Sabalenka did not have it.
World no. 1 fought from one setup to eliminate no. 4 pegs, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 before he won Sabalenko a few years ago.

At the decisive third set, Sabalenka stopped the pegule right away from Bat for 1-0 lead, leading the American to grow the ball into the ground from his racket in frustration.
